When the House of Representatives passed the “DARK Act” this past summer, we immediately turned our attention to the Senate, where we knew we had to stop the “DARK Act” from moving forward. It now appears we succeeded, but, we knew our opposition would not go away so easily. Now our opposition may have convinced some of our elected officials to slip a “DARK Act” policy rider into a must pass government spending bill before the end of the year. We will prevail again if we can all come together, use our collective voice and make sure our elected officials are hearing from us.

“I am calling to urge you to stand in strong opposition to any “DARK Act” policy rider that may be slipped into the omnibus government spending bill. Americans deserve and need to know what is in the food we are feeding ourselves and our families. We want a strong, mandatory, on package GMO labeling law.”
